Westmoor @Terra Nova and Fun and Games

League Meet #3

Thursday Westmoor went to Terra Nova High School for the 3rd dual meet out of 6 for the season.  Terra Nova just moved up to the Bay Division so this is the first time for us to go head-to-head.  Westmoor used its depth to dominate in all four divisions.  Terra Nova has some great athletes, and you can see that in the results.  In the Varsity Boys division you can see that Westmoor and Terra Nova each won 8 events.   Winning 8 events is worth 40 points.  The rest of the points came from 2nd and 3rd place finishes.  We had a number of P.R.s on the track as well the field.  PRs and near-PRs were great efforts with the strong head-wind on the home stretch.  Nice job Rams!

Current record:  VB(2-1) VG (3-0)

Friday was yearbook pictures and Fun-and-Games day on the field.  We played Soccer, Ultimate Frisbee, and Football.  It looked like everyone was having a lot of fun!  Nice job Caleb’s team for beating Julie’s team at soccer and preventing them from going undefeated.  Instead we had a 4-way tie for 1st :).

Next week we have a home meet against Aragon on Thursday.  Then on Friday some of our top freshmen and sophomores will be competing at the F/S Top 8 meet.  On Saturday Kylie will be running a mile at Stanford.  Keep it up Rams!
