Serra Invite + PAL #3 + Mariner

Last week was a busy week!  Saturday 10/12 was the Serra Invitational at Crystal Springs where we ran all of our athletes except Varsity.  We held them back because we had a league meet scheduled for Crystal Springs just a few days later and another race the following Saturday.  The meet went very well, especially considering the number of entries!  Thank you Serra High School for hosting such a fun meet.  Competition was VERY strong and we are proud to announce that three of our young runners earned medals.  Congratulations to Kyle Lee, Brandon Tang, and Omar Shatrat,  for earning those medals!

On Wednesday our varsity teams ran at Crystal Springs against all the PAL teams at the last league meet before the finals.  The Varsity girls ran well, maintaining their position as 7th place in the League, while the boys moved up a spot to 6th.  If the season was to end now both teams would qualify for CCS.

This past Saturday we had our fun family picnic at the Mariner invitational in Hayward.  The meet is set in a very nice Park and is well organized.  Most of our athletes ran the 2.1mile course with Anwar running the full 3.1 miles.
